My Journey To Spiritual Restoration

Restoration is not just about mending. Repairing what is broken and returning to a state of completeness. This is the miraculous work that God is doing in my life right now.

Psalms 71:20-21

“Though you have made me see troubles, many and bitter, you will restore my life again from the depths of the earth you will again bring me up. You will increase my honor and comfort me once more.”

My dear child, in your journey, you have faced many challenges. Indured bitter experiences and walked through times of trouble that seemed unending. I have seen your struggles and your perseverance. Now hear my words of assurance, I am with you in these trials, and I am the God of Restoration. It’s about bringing back wholeness.  I am not alone, and my tears and suffering have not been in vain and have not gone unnoticed, for my God has always been with me even through my darkest hours. These trials are all part of a greater plan, the divine process of shaping and strengthening me. Now it is time for restoration, a time for what seemed lost will be returned in ways you can not yet imagine. As you have descended into depths of difficulty, I bring you up again. This is not merely a return to where you were before but a lifting to new heights. Your life, which has seen troubles, many and bitter, will experience a renewal that is deep and profound. In this restoration, there will be an increase in your honor, a testament to your resilience, and my unending grace. I will comfort you once more with a peace that is lasting and true, bringing light to your journey ahead. In this light, you will find clarity and hope. A renewed sense of purpose and joy  in your life. Amen. 😇❤️🙏

Come Holy Spirit

Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and kindle in them the fire of your love. Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created. And You shall renew the face of the earth.

O, God, who by the light of the Holy Spirit, did instruct the hearts of the faithful, grant that by the same Holy Spirit we may be truly wise and ever enjoy His consolations, Through Christ Our Lord, Amen.

What Are The Spiritual Gifts Of The Holy Spirit?

1 Corinthians 12

“Now about the gifts of the Spirit, brothers and sisters, I do not want you to be uninformed. You know that when you were pagans, somehow or other you were influenced and led astray to mute idols. Therefore I want you to know that no one who is speaking by the Spirit of God says, “Jesus be cursed,” and no one can say, “Jesus is Lord,” except by the Holy Spirit.”

There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work.

Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. To one there is given through the Spirit a message of wisdom, to another a message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues.All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he distributes them to each one, just as he determines.

Why Should We Desire Spiritual Gifts?

In a previous blog I spoke about being blessed with the Gift of Prophecy and the various Spiritual Gifts that come with it. My question is, why as Christians should we desire these Gifts? What does the Bible say about it? 1 Corithians 14 Follow the way of love and eagerly desire spiritual gifts, especially the gift of prophecy. For anyone who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God. Indeed, no one understands him; he utters mysteries with his spirit.
How will activating the Gift of Phrophecy help you in your life? I encourage you to do some research on the topic on your own and explore the benefits of Spiritual Gifts and allow the Holy Spirit to work in you. In Jesus name. Amen.

Baptized With The Holy Spirit Vs. Being Filled With The Holy Spirit

So what is the difference?

Being filled with the Spirit means a follower of Jesus is empowered to live the life God intended for them by submitting to the presence, power, and purpose of the Holy Spirit in their lives, and happens when one is Baptized by Water as John the Baptist did in the Bible. When one is filled with the Holy Spirit one will experience the fruits of the Holy Spirit which is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. These are manifestations of the Holy Spirit that are mentioned in Galatians 5:22-23. The tradition of the Church lists twelve of them: charity, generosity, modesty, and chastity. 

Being Baptized With the Holy Spirit means The baptism of the Holy Spirit occurs when the Spirit of God comes upon a believer. The Holy Spirit fills the believer’s mind with a genuine understanding of truth, takes possession of the believer’s abilities, and imparts gifts that qualify the believer for service in the body of Christ and experience the seven Gifts of the Holy Spirit which are Wisdom, Understanding, Counsel, Fortitude, Knowledge, Piety, and Fear of the Lord. 

According to Church tradition, the Holy Spirit rests on the Messiah, Emmanuel, and that he possesses these gifts. As Jesus was blessed with these gifts by his Father, every believer is blessed with the same gifts by the Holy Spirit

“As for me, I baptize you with water for repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, and I am not fit to remove His sandals; He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.”

Baptized With The Holy Spirit

It was the weekend before Easter 2010. I had been reading my bible and I read of how Jesus, after being lifted to heaven, sent the Holy Spirit to his disciples and they all began to speak in a different tongue. I remember being intrigued by this and that very night I prayed to God, that if it was his will, that he would bless me with this gift. This was on a Friday. The following day I was participating in a Men’s Retreat and I was asked if I could give a talk regarding God’s Love to which I did. After the talks were done we then proceeded to walk towards the church for a service. As I approached the church entrance there was another entrance to the Sanctuary. I opened the door and as soon as I walked in I was in front of the Terbanacle where the Eucharist is Stored. All of a sudden I felt a strong presence that radiated all through my body and I immediately fell to the floor with my arms stretched as if I was on a cross. Then immediately after that, I began to pray in tongue. There were many people there who witnessed this. That day I was baptized with the Holy Spirit and I gave my life to Jesus. Amen

What Is Evidence Of Being Baptized With The Holy Spirit?

Evidence of Being Baptized With the Holy Spirit can be found in Scripture. The baptism of believers in the Holy Spirit is witnessed by the initial physical sign of speaking with other tongues as the Spirit of God gives them utterance.

In Acts 2:4, says, “And they were filled with the Holy Spirit, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance”.

In Acts 19:6, when Paul placed his hands on the Ephesian elders, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they spoke in tongues while others prophesied.

I have read that baptism with the Holy Spirit gives people the power to move in all the gifts of the Spirit and to be bold witnesses. I have also read the Holy Spirit will speak to people in their minds by giving them a thought or an idea. Or He will lead people by making an impression upon their hearts to say something, do something, or think something according to God’s will. 

Speaking in Tounges

I want to witness how Great God is and how he will work through you if you allow him to. Years ago I was baptized with the Holy Spirit and was blessed with the Gift of Prophecy and along with that came the gift of tounges and interpretation. I want to share with you of how God has used this gift in my life. A few days ago I was walking down the street and I came across a group of people who were Chinese and all of a sudden I felt the fire of the Holy Spirit come upon me and I started to speak in Tounges to them. One of them looked at me in amazement and said to me, you speak Mandarin? I continued to share with them and proclaim to them the word of God and Glorifying his name. This is how the Holy Spirit uses the Gift of Tounges through me. Praise be to God.

But everyone who prophesies speaks to men for their strengthening, encouragement, and comfort. He who speaks in a tongue edifies himself, but he who prophesies edifies the church.”

Touch Of The Holy Spirit

What does it feel like to be touched by the Holy Spirit? In simple words, it is pure love. It is a love like no other. It is difficult to put into words because it is an extraordinary feeling in your heart that can only come from God. It takes your breath away, and it feels as though your heart is going to explode because you can not contain the joy and happiness that you feel in your heart. When you are touched by the Holy Spirit, it empowers you to be amazing and to do things that you would never think possible. You do things that are extraordinary beyond your human understanding and can not be explained by reason. It is mind-blowing how the Holy Spirit will empower you to be courages in the face of adversity and will transform your life forever, and you will never be the same person again. I pray that someday you will come to experience the true love of Jesus Christ through the touch of the Holy Spirit. I pray in the Mighty and Powerful name of Jesus that as you read this, the Holy Spirit will come upon you and touch your heart so that you may experience the true love of God. In the name of all Mighty and Powerful Jesus. Amen 😇🙏❤️
