Experiecing A Spiritual Awakening

I was told about this church in Rancho Cucamonga by a friend of mine, so I decided to give them a visit. Let me tell you, the Holy Spirit is very well alive in this church. Toward the end of the service, the Pastor invited those who were new to the church to come to the front so that they may pray over us. As the Pastor began to pray he called upon the Holy Spirit to come upon us and then I felt as though once again I was touched by the Holy Spirit and I began to release years and years of bottled up emotions that I didn’t even know where there. I received Spiritual Healing and I felt as though God had restored me for good this time so that I may fulfill my destiny. It was a true spiritual awakening that was years in the making. Praise be to God. Amen. ❤️🙏😇

What Are The Spiritual Gifts Of The Holy Spirit?

1 Corinthians 12

“Now about the gifts of the Spirit, brothers and sisters, I do not want you to be uninformed. You know that when you were pagans, somehow or other you were influenced and led astray to mute idols. Therefore I want you to know that no one who is speaking by the Spirit of God says, “Jesus be cursed,” and no one can say, “Jesus is Lord,” except by the Holy Spirit.”

There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work.

Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. To one there is given through the Spirit a message of wisdom, to another a message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues. All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he distributes them to each one, just as he determines.

What Is Evidence Of Being Baptized With The Holy Spirit?

Evidence of Being Baptized With the Holy Spirit can be found in Scripture. The baptism of believers in the Holy Spirit is witnessed by the initial physical sign of speaking with other tongues as the Spirit of God gives them utterance.

In Acts 2:4, says, “And they were filled with the Holy Spirit, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance”.

In Acts 19:6, when Paul placed his hands on the Ephesian elders, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they spoke in tongues while others prophesied.

I have read that baptism with the Holy Spirit gives people the power to move in all the gifts of the Spirit and to be bold witnesses. I have also read the Holy Spirit will speak to people in their minds by giving them a thought or an idea. Or He will lead people by making an impression upon their hearts to say something, do something, or think something according to God’s will.

Speaking in Tounges

I want to witness how Great God is and how he will work through you if you allow him to. Years ago I was baptized with the Holy Spirit and was blessed with the Gift of Prophecy and along with that came the gift of tounges and interpretation. I want to share with you of how God has used this gift in my life. A few days ago I was walking down the street and I came across a group of people who were Chinese and all of a sudden I felt the fire of the Holy Spirit come upon me and I started to speak in Tounges to them. One of them looked at me in amazement and said to me, you speak Mandarin? I continued to share with them and proclaim to them the word of God and Glorifying his name. This is how the Holy Spirit uses the Gift of Tounges through me. Praise be to God.

1 Corinthians 14:2-4

“For anyone who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God. Indeed, no one understands him; he utters mysteries with his spirit. But everyone who prophesies speaks to men for their strengthening, encouragement, and comfort. He who speaks in a tongue edifies himself, but he who prophesies edifies the church.”

God are you there?

God are you there? Who are you? Why do I feel this way? If you are there, I need your help understanding. Please help me understand what it is that I am feeling. Who am I, really? I long to feel you and to serve you. You inspire me to be a better person but at times I feel lost, alone and insecure. In you I seek the strength to move forward but often I find myself confused and afraid. Please help me! It wasn’t too long ago that I felt betrayed by you. I resented you and I felt anger towards you. But in reality it was me, who I hated, not you. I hated myself for not being a man. I was so wrong, I made so many mistakes. I love you for loving me. After all I did, you never gave up on me and I love you for that. Now it is time for us to have a real relationship. I open my heart to you and I ask for your mercy. I ask that you forgive me and I ask that you help me to get stronger, so that through me, we can make a difference in the world. Amen.

Jeremiah 29:13

“You will seek me and you will find me when you seek me with all your heart.”

What Is Christian Living?

The goal of Christian living is to continue to grow and fall more in love with Jesus throughout our lives. Nobody achieves perfection in a lifetime, rather we’re invited on a journey with the One whose passion drove Him to die for us. Let us help you take your next steps in your relationship with Jesus.

Rules for Christian Living

Romans 12:9-18

Be sincere in your love for others. Hate everything that is evil and hold tight to everything that is good.

Love each other as brothers and sisters and honor others more than you do yourself. 11

Never give up. Eagerly follow the Holy Spirit and serve the Lord. 12

Let your hope make you glad. Be patient in time of trouble and never stop praying. Take care of God’s needy people and welcome strangers into your home.

Ask God to bless everyone who mistreats you. Ask him to bless them and not to curse them. When others are happy, be happy with them, and when they are sad, be sad. Be friendly with everyone. Don’t be proud and feel that you know more than others. Make friends with ordinary people. Don’t mistreat someone who has mistreated you. But try to earn the respect of others, and do your best to live at peace with everyone.

Experiencing The Love Of God And Living With Bipolar Disorder

When I served in the Army years ago, a weapon stuck a blow into the back of my head. It resulted in Traumatic Brain Injury.

After I returned to civilian life, I struggled with depression. When going through a depressing episode, I isolated myself from the world. I spent most of my days in bed. I didn’t feel like doing anything and I drowned myself in sorrows and feelings of unworthiness.

One day I received a Veterans Affairs flyer with a message about depression and mental illness. It gave information about making an appointment with a counselor if I was struggling.

At the appointment, the counselor diagnosed me with PTSD. Shortly after, I met with a psychiatrist who prescribed medication to treat my depression. While on the medication, I experienced a manic episode induced by the medication. I was later diagnosed with bipolar disorder.

I was still struggling emotionally, and at times I felt as though God had abandoned me. But that was far from the truth because God was with me even in my darkest hour.

My family struggled seeing me with this mental illness. Yet, when it was hard, my faith was constant even in the storms.

I have now come to accept my disability and I share my story with people saying it is possible to live a normal life even if we are living with bipolar disorder.

For ten years I took meds and always having to try different types, too many to remember. At one point I was taking an injection once a month.

The story of Job in the bible who counted on God even in his terrible suffering, encourages me when I am feeling down. I give thanks even when I don’t feel like praying.

After much counseling, I have not taken any medication in over a year and rely mostly on prayer meditation to manage the bipolar symptoms. For months now, I have been stable with no manic episodes and God’s help with depression. I listen to worship music and attend church daily. It is a great source of comfort and inspiration giving me new life daily.

Note to reader: Never stop taking your meds without consultation with your psychiatrist.

John 16:33, “In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”

Jesus promises us that we will have trials and tribulations in this world, but because He has overcome the world, we can trust Him in the storms.
