But here’s the truth that changed everything for me: we’re not defenseless. God has commissioned every believer to be a prayer warrior, equipped with divine weapons that are
“mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds” (2 Corinthians 10:4).

For me, the battlefield was my mind—plagued by memories of military service, haunted by depression, and tormented by anxiety. But through prayer warfare, I learned to take every thought captive and make it obedient to Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5).
Your battlefield might be different. Perhaps it’s your family relationships, like my ongoing prayers for my children Alexander, Andrew, Aidan and Amber. The enemy attacks where he can cause the most damage, but that’s exactly where God wants to demonstrate His greatest victory through your prayers.

In military terms, position is everything. The same principle applies to prayer warfare. You must establish your position in Christ before you can effectively engage the enemy.
