Doing A Good Deed

The other day, I was walking out from Panera. It was raining very hard and as I walked towards my car there was a man parked next to me and he was struggling trying to get his car to start. Apparently, his battery had died, and he was standing in the rain looking deafeted. I approached him and I asked him if I could help him. He said he didn’t have any jumper cables, and unfortunately, neither did I. So I told him not to worry I would go to the Home Depot and buy some cables so that I could give him a jump. So I went bought the cables and was able to give him a jump and I even gave him the cables to keep in case his battery died again. But let me tell you, he was so grateful for having helped him out in his desperate situation. He shared with me that he was the owner of a restaurant in the area, and as a show of gratitude for my kindness, he told me that he would cater any future event I wanted absolutely free, no matter the size of the event. So we exchanged numbers and now we are good friends. I tell you, my brothers and sisters, it’s always good to do good deeds because you never know when God will show up. Praise be to God. Amen 🙏 ❤️ 😇

Are You A Fountain Or Are You A Drain?

I heard this message on the Radio and I Just wanted to share it with all of my Brothers and Sisters in Christ.

FOUNTAINS: Bring life and energy to their team. They are positive, encouraging and make everyone around them better. DRAINS: Suck the energy out of the room.

“Like a fountain of water, the words of a good person give life” (Proverbs 10:11).

Why Should We Fast?

I have so many Prayer requests and I ask God for a Miracle of Healing only if it is his Will. Along with Prayer, We should also offer up a Fast to God so that you would invite God to be with you. Then, offer your fast for your chosen intention, ask for the grace to complete it and tell God that you accept as a gift whatever he chooses to bring out of it. Jesus expected His followers to fast, and He said that God rewards fasting. Fasting, according to the Bible, means to voluntarily reduce or eliminate your intake of food for a specific time and purpose but he also gives us instruction on how to Fast.

Mathew 6:16-18
But when you fast, put oil on your head and wash your face, so that it will not be obvious to others that you are fasting, but only to your Father, who is unseen; and your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.
